Bergmeisterwolf's Villa Extension Has Walls That Vanish Into the Floor

Italian architectural studio Bergmeisterwolf has fixed up a modern extension for a 17th-century villa, but with a twist. In addition to containing large paneled windows along the side of the extension, but these windows have an automated system that allows them to disappear into the floor, allowing for unrestricted access inside of the house and into the back yard. The L-shaped extension contains two rooms that both contain the vanishing walls. Other features included within the extension include a dyed concrete material used to construct the roof and the floor.
